A Date Night with Seth & Liz

What if your next photo session didn’t feel like a photo session at all?

That was exactly the vibe for Seth and Liz’s couples session. We turned their session into a little date night — coffee, Bible study, cruising around in their Porsche, and ending the evening on a baseball field for some golden-hour fun.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite ways to photograph couples. Give me the real stuff. The in-between moments. The laughing, driving around, grabbing coffee, talking about life, and just enjoying each other. Those are the moments that tell your story.

Coffee, Jesus & a Little Bible Study

We started the evening at a Christian coffee shop, where Seth and Liz grabbed coffee and spent some time doing a Bible study together.

I mean… could there be a better way to start a date night?

There was something so sweet about watching them slow down together and spend intentional time in God’s Word. It wasn’t posed or forced. It was simply them doing something they genuinely enjoy together — and that made it so much more meaningful to photograph.

I’m always a sucker for photos that feel like real life, and these were definitely that.

Cruising Around in Their Porsche

After coffee, we hopped in the Porsche and headed out for a little drive.

Because why not make the drive part of the date?

There’s just something about photographing couples in their element. Windows down, music playing, driving around, laughing, and enjoying the person sitting next to you.

It gave us so many fun, candid moments that felt less like “taking pictures” and more like I was just tagging along on their date.

And yes, the Porsche definitely deserved a few photos too. 😉

Golden Hour on the Baseball Field

We finished the night at a baseball field just as the sun started to drop.

This is where things got a little more playful.

We ran around, laughed, played, and captured some of those fun, movement-filled photos that I love so much. No stiff posing. No standing perfectly still and smiling at the camera.

The golden light made everything even better, and by the end of the evening, it felt like we had captured an entire little chapter of their relationship instead of just a handful of pretty pictures.

And honestly, that’s what I want your photos to feel like.

Not just beautiful images, but memories you can look back on years from now and remember exactly what that season of life felt like.
