The Oregon coast has always been on my bucket list, and getting to travel there to photograph such a beautiful, intimate elopement was truly a dream come true. The kind of dream where you find yourself looking around thinking, Is this real life?!
I absolutely love big weddings. There is something so special about having all of your favorite people in one place, celebrating, laughing, crying happy tears, and dancing the night away. But there is also something incredibly beautiful about choosing an intimate elopement somewhere that feels like it was made just for the two of you.
And this Oregon coast elopement? It was EVERYTHING.

One of the things I love most about intimate elopements is that there is so much room to just be.
No rushing from one thing to the next. No pressure to make sure you’ve talked to every single guest. Just two people choosing one another, surrounded by a place that feels meaningful and beautiful.
And don’t get me wrong, I will always love a big wedding celebration. But an intimate elopement like this reminds me that there is no one right way to get married.
Maybe your dream wedding is a big celebration with everyone you love. Maybe it’s exchanging vows on a cliff overlooking the ocean, with the fog rolling in and the sound of the waves below you.
Both are beautiful. Both are worth celebrating.
But there was something so special about this quiet little corner of the Oregon coast, where the rest of the world seemed to fade away for a moment.
These are the moments I love documenting most. The in-between moments, the quiet connection, the way someone looks at the person they love when they think no one else is watching. The kind of photographs that bring you right back to how it felt.

I think a little piece of my heart was left on the Oregon coast after this trip.
As someone who is drawn to the coast, the quiet moments, and the beauty of God’s creation, being able to photograph a love story in a place like this was such a gift. The landscape itself felt like part of the story.
The fog, the cliffs, the trees, the ocean stretching endlessly behind them. Nothing needed to be overdone. The setting was already breathtaking, and all we had to do was let the moments unfold naturally.
This is exactly why I love traveling for photography. There are so many beautiful places in this world, and getting to document people’s love stories in places that feel like a dream is something I will never take for granted.
Oregon, you were so worth the wait. And I’m already dreaming about coming back!
